Are there any upfront recruitment or contracting costs?

No, you simply sign up to the Zoomtal platform for free and submit your project requirements.

How is the trial period no-risk?

We make sure to start each engagement with a trial period of up to one week. If after the trial period you are completely satisfied with your zoomer and their results, we'll bill you for the time and continue the engagement for as long as you like. If you're not completely satisfied you won't be billed. From there we can either part ways or we can provide you with another zoomer who may be a better fit for your company.

Are ad-hoc works also no-risk?

Ad-hoc works are also no-risk as if you are not satisfied with the one-off piece of work you will not be billed.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with my Zoomtal expert?

We allow our clients to begin a trial period with Zoomers for 1 week. Whilst we vigorously screen our candidates we do understand that not every person will be a perfect fit for every company and if after the trial period you are not satisfied you can simply walk away or we can match you with another Zoomer.

How is Zoomtal different

We are a TaaS (Talent-As-A-Service) platform and leverage technology, our industry knowlegde and a rigorous screening process to curate a network of the worlds best construction professionals and make them available to clients on demand with the tools to manage them remotely.

Can I hire a full time Zoomer and bring him/her into our company?

Yes, we will work with you to fully understand your specific requirements so that we can establish a mutually beneficial arrangement

Testing and Screening

How does your screening process ensure quality candidates that meet our requirements?

We screen for communication skills, personality, domain specific knowledge, a high level of professionalism and discipline. Approximately only 10% of applicants actually pass the screen ing process. Our process includes a variety of ways to determne skill and proficiency including, reference checking, technical challenges, live problem solving sessions and personality and communication testing

Do you offer services such as screening vetting and testing to help us hire employees from outside the Zoomtal network?

We curently do not provide these service but plan on offering them in the future.


Where do Zoomers work?

We encourage our clients to hire Zoomers on a remote working basis so that they are not restricted to local talent pools. Zoomers can of course work on site if required but we find that with the Zoomtal technology and tools this is not usually required.

Can I bring Zoomers on site?

In practice there have only been a few instances where clients have felt it absolutely necessary to bring a zoomer physically on site. If this truly is a requirement, we can work with you to coordinate relocating the zoomer to your location for a set period of time. That being said, a number of our clients adopt a hybrid approach with Zoomers working remotely with structured site visits.

Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

Who owns the legal rights to the works created by the Zoomer?

The client. Our contracts provide that all work created by a zoomer is the property of the client, not Zoomtal.

How do we ensure that our IP is protected?

Zoomtal enters into talent agreements with every member of the talent network. Through these agreements Zoomtal obtains exclusive ownership of the work created by the Zoomtal talent that works with you. We then provide you with the intellectual property for the work that the Zoomer creates for you under our client agreement.

How does zoomtal keep my information and data confidential

Our Zoomers sign strict Non Disclosure Agreements for every single one of their assignments

Pricing and Payment

How much does Zoomtal cost?

This depends of the canditate skill set, where they are based in the world and their level of expertise and experience. We will work with you to find the right price point that suits your project and business.

What are the Zoomtal payment terms for one-off assignments?

For one-off projects we agree an estimated number of hours to complete the assignment and charge you upfront for the hours x the hourly rate of your selected zoomer. The payment goes into escrow until you have confirmed that you are satisfied. If satisfied payment is released with the hours actualised. If the hours to undertake the work is less than the estimate you will be credited with the difference and if the hours to complete the project are more you will be charged for the additional.

What are the Zoomtal payment terms for ongoing or interim resource?

Our payment terms are 30 days. That being said, we understand the cashflow issues faced by many construction cients and can be flexible depending on the project specifics.

What method of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards for payments of one-off work and BACS payments for ongoing and interim resource and associated work.
